Method

To make this candy, wash the amla first in running water. Once done, let them dry on their own. Take out the pit from the amla and cut it into smaller pieces in a large utensil. Put the cut amla for sun drying and keep in the heat of the sun for 2-3 days. Once the amla is completely dried or dehydrated, add them to a large container and mix the juice of 2 large lemons in it along with ginger paste and ajwain powder and black salt in it. Using your hands, mix all the ingredients very well and dry again in the sun for a week. This whole process will make the amla look very hard or stiff. Once the amla is completely dried up, add it into a container with a lid and take a little piece as and whenever you feel gas & acidity.
