A mix of these two ingredients can make your clothes stain-free and also help remove stubborn yellow sweat stains on clothes, especially underarms or collars, which is usually tough to remove. Apart from that, it also helps adding a nice fragrance to the clothes, simply make a paste of lemon juice and salt, apply it on the stained area and leave it for 30 minutes before washing. It helps break down the stain and brighten fabric.

Keeping a bowl filled with salt and lemon peels or slices can work as natural room freshner, if your room smells musty or foul, salt and lemon can act as a quick air freshener.
