As per Hindu beliefs clove is considered pious and so it is used in several Hindu rituals and religious practices. It is believed that this spice can ward off the ill-effects of evil eye and boost a positive aura. Spiritual experts believe that keeping a few pods of cloves in your wallet or keeping them in the puja thali and offering to Goddess Durga can bring good luck.
