Making a salad may seem like child’s play, but replacing a meal with salad with almost the same nutritional value may be a tough task. Here are some no-fuss salad recipes that are absolutely delicious, satiating and are packed with nutrients. These dump and dine salads can make for a comforting meal too with some easily available kitchen ingredients, so save these recipes for the days when cooking a meal seems like a tiresome task!

​Spinach Egg Salad


This simple salad can be made in just five minutes. To begin with, take a pan, add in 1 teaspoon olive oil and make 1 golden fried egg, keep it on one side of the plate. Next, toss 3-4 cubes of cottage cheese in the same pan. Lastly, take a large bowl, add 1 cup par-boiled baby spinach leaves, add tomatoes. In the meantime, whisk 1 teaspoon olive oil, garlic cloves, paprika, oregano, salt and pepper with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, pour the dressing, toss it well, arrange the salad platter and enjoy.

​Strawberry, spinach and walnut


A power packed salad loaded with minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and a punch of sweet, sour taste. To make this salad, par boil the spinach leaves. Next, prepare a dressing with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, black pepper, honey, kosher salt, whisk it well and add in some lime zest. Add in the spinach leaves, sliced strawberries, walnuts, feta cheese mix it well and serve.

​Spiced chickpea salad


Made with a protein-rich chickpeas, this simple yet healthy salad can be tweaked as per taste. To make this salad recipe, soaked and boiled chickpeas. In the meantime, take a bowl and add 1tablespoon olive oil, black pepper, salt, paprika and lemon juice and mixed herbs, whisk it well. Add the boiled chickpea, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, red onions, coriander leaves and mix it well and relish!

​Creamy green bean salad


To prepare this simple salad, wash and cut the beans. Next, take a pan and par boil the beans. Take another pan and add 1 tablespoon of butter, add in 4 chopped garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon ginger paste. Add in the green beans and add in 1 cup low fat cream, mixed herbs, black herbs, salt and paprika. Lastly, add in chopped tomatoes, give it a nice mix and serve. Garnish with some parmesan cheese and enjoy.

​Leftover chicken salad


To make this quick and easy salad, take a pan and add 1 teaspoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon of garlic and ginger paste, add in leftover chicken slices along with ½ teaspoon soy sauce, black pepper and salt. In the meantime, take a bowl and add lettuce, baby spinach leaves, cherry tomatoes, bread croutons and add in the chicken and give it a nice toss and enjoy.
