Easy ​dinner recipes for lazy eaters


A lavish supper can turn a bad day into a good one! But cooking an elaborate dinner after a long hectic day may seem like a daunting task.

However, skipping dinner simply means missing out on nutrition as it is one of the essential meals of the day. And eating anything just to satiate the craving is certainly a bad idea. But what if we tell you that now you can relish a sumptuous and wholesome dinner without even cooking, sounds strange right?

Well, if you thought that wasn’t possible, then we have curated some quick and easy recipes, which anyone can make at home without even turning on the flame or baking. Yes, just dump and dine, and wind up the day on a delicious note!

​Sprouts Salad


To make this sumptuous dinner, soak green moong dal and chana with water for one or two days so that they sprout nicely. Next, take a large bowl and add the sprouts along with chopped tomato, zucchini, chopped lettuce, green chilies. Toss the veggies and sprouts. Next, make a dressing with lemon juice, black pepper, cumin powder, ½ teaspoon garlic paste, whisk it together. Season with salt and enjoy!

​Tortilla Wraps


To make this quick dish, just heat the Tortilla wraps and spread some butter, layer the lettuce, chopped tomatoes, green chilies, zucchini, chopped onions, loads of cheese, paprika, pepper, salt. Pour some chipotle and pickled olives and jalapenos. Serve these with any dip of your choice.

​Paneer Toss with Pita


To make this quick meal, you need to chop veggies like zucchini, tomatoes, bell peppers and assemble them in a bowl. Next, add 1 cup chopped paneer along with a dash of mixed herbs, lime juice, olive oil, paprika and salt. Toss it nicely. Heat the pita bread and spread some hummus/butter and add the toss veggie and paneer mix. Enjoy!

​Chickpea Cream Salad


Soak chickpea overnight and pressure cook. You can also make this dish without boiling the chickpea. Next take a large bowl and add in chopped onions, cucumber, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves. Next, take another bowl and add fresh cream, whisk it with some red chili powder, black pepper powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper, whisk it nicely. Pour the dressing and toss the salad and garnish with mixed herbs.

​Smoothie Bowl


If you have a sweet tooth, then this wholesome meal will satiate your love for a dessert as well as a dinner. To make this quick smoothie bowl you need two tablespoons of peanut butter, ½ cup dark chocolate, 1 ½ cup milk, 1 teaspoon chia seeds along with 3 tablespoons of oats soaked in water. Blend it together and add 1 tablespoon of honey and garnish the way you like and enjoy.
