Moscow bar mixes Coronavirus cocktail to soothe outbreak angst

With 324 cases in India and several lakhs across the globe, COVID19 as a pandemic has resulted in a lot of panic. To calm it down and bring people at ease, a bar in Moscow has found a remedy in for the growing angst. Scroll below to know the secret of the colourful cocktail that the bar claims to be magical.

What is Coronavirus Cocktail?

Moscow’s Razvedka Bar has coined ‘Coronavirus Cocktail’ that is served in a glass with two medical syringes, one containing a bright red and the other a bright green liquid. In a statement to media agency, the bar has denied to reveal the ingredients. (Image courtesy: Instagram/@razvedka.bar)

Why did they introduce the cocktail?

According to reports, the cocktail is designed to help Muscovites refrain from panicking as the country records an increasing number of cases of the virus. The bar claims that the idea of this cocktail came suddenly, just like the virus itself and they decided to try and lower the level of tension and panic, which is our worst enemy in this situation.

When to consume this cocktail?

On its Instagram page, the bar has mentioned that the cocktail should be consumed when a person is overtaken by the desire to stock up on toilet paper and staples such as buckwheat for an eventual lockdown. The team duly suggests that one should wash hands and do what the World Health Organization (WHO) says to stay safe and healthy. And, there’s no need to panic. What for? It doesn’t help anybody.

Note: While we report on the spread of Coronavirus in India, we also need to emphasize that the need for caution shouldn't lead to an atmosphere filled with anxiety and fear. We stand by #CautionYesPanicNo
