South Indian Beetroot and Paneer Paniyaram

Ingredients required


1 cup grated beetroot, 1 cup paneer, 1 boiled potato, 1/2 cup sooji, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp chaat masala, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 green chilli, and oil for cooking

Peel, wash and grate beetroot in a mixing bowl.

To this, add grated paneer and mix well.

Also, add coriander leaves, and lemon juice along with sooji, and spices.

Mix well the mixture, and add water to attain pouring consistency.

Lastly, add baking soda and give it a gentle mix.

Heat a paniyaram pan and grease it well. Pour the batter in the moulds.

Cook on a low flame using enough oil, until it's done. Serve hot with chutney.
