What happened?
What was the reaction?
The customer went back to the outlet immediately to show them the dead cockroach floating in their iced tea. And the reaction towards the floating cockroach was cold according to the customer, although she mentioned on her social media post that the staff apologized for the presence of foreign particle in the coffee, the customer felt that they showed “no real concern at all”. She wrote that “I visited L’Opéra today in Khan Market and ordered an iced latte to go. When I opened the drink, I thought I saw a coffee bean floating around, but when I flipped it over, it was a freaking cockroach,” wrote the customer whose social media handle on Reddit is by the name of “WaltzSimple6037”.
This is not the first time, when netizens came across such a massive culinary blunder, but this time the reaction was stronger than ever, while many netizens expressed disgusted and anger; some took it on a lighter note and wrote “It’s not a bug, it’s a feature,” joked an individual.
Another user mentioned that “There are no food standards in India, even when you pay such a high price for a drink.
