The actor is currently shooting in Chandigarh and is staying at a 5-star property and while working out at the gym, he ordered 2 bananas and the bill he got was bizarre. He was charged Rs 442 for 2 bananas, GST included. After which, he took it to his twitter account along with a video and this is what happened.

Investigation is on

Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner and Excise and Taxation Commissioner Mandip Singh Brar recently ordered a high-level investigation after Rahul Bose’s video went viral. The Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner (AETC) has been directed to conduct an investigation on how the hotel had charged GST on fresh fruits. According to GST guidelines, fresh fruits and vegetables are not chargeable under GST.
