How to make beetroot puree


Wash and peel 4-5 beetroots. Cut them into small cubes. Add them to a pot with enough water to cover and boil for 15–20 minutes, until they turn tender. Drain the excess water. Blend them into a smooth puree and store in an airtight jar and use as per need.

One of the easiest ways of sliding in the goodness of beetroot in daily diet is via smoothies and juices. The puree not just adds colour, but a wholesome nutrition that boosts the value of smoothie and juices. One can mix a spoonful of puree to banana and apple smoothie and when it comes to juice, carrot and beetroot make a delicious combination.

Roti, Poori, or Paratha



Another smart way of adding beetroot puree to daily meals is via breads. It often happens that kids don't like the bland flavour of beetroot, hence, this is a healthier way of adding beetroot to their diet, where you knead the dough for roti, poori, or paratha with the puree.
