Fusion delights to try this Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi has begun and it’s time to treat Bappa with some of his most loved delicacies. As per the Hindu mythology, satiating Bappa’s hunger was difficult, so the devotees offered him some of his favourite foods to satiate his hunger and make him happy. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, let's make the festive feast more exciting by adding a fusion twist to classic delicacies. Here are a few fusion delights you can prepare and offer as bhog to Bappa.

​Berry Kheer


Give your love for desi Kheer an exotic touch by adding berries. To make this quick Kheer, just boil some milk and sugar, once the milk is reduced to half, add some fresh cream and dried cranberries. Refrigerate the Kheer and garnish with fresh berries.

​Rose Shrikhand


To make this delicious Rose Shrikhand, just drain out the water from curd by running it through a muslin cloth, refrigerate the curd overnight. Lastly, take the curd and add powdered sugar, rose syrup, rose essence and rose petals to make a smooth creamy mixture. Refrigerate and serve.

Call it Cranberry Balls or Cranberry Ladoo this dessert can make for a delicious bhog recipe. Just mix some grated coconut with dried cranberries along with some oats and condensed milk, make a thick dough and roll the Ladoos and enjoy.

​Paan Modak


To make this quick Modak recipe, just make a blend of pan leaves along with some grated coconut, condensed milk, gulkand and dried rose petals. Just cook the mixture for 3-4 minutes. Once the mixture attains room temperature put it in a Modak mould and refrigerate the Modaks. Serve as prasad.

​Anjeer Basundi


To make this quick Anjeer Basundi recipe, just boil the milk. Once the milk turns thick and in a puree of soaked anjeer, dry fruits and nuts, cardamom powder simmer the dish till it turns thick and creamy. Serve as a bhog and enjoy!
