Timesless weaves of Chhattisgarh on the ramp

The state is particularly famous for its Kosa silk, which is highly regarded for its fine quality and texture. Kosa silk is widely used in the creation of saris, dress materials, and other garments. The city of Raigarh is known for its Kosa silk production.

On Day 2 of DTFW 2023, the state's tourism department presented a tribute to the state in the form of a collection which showcased rich textiles of the state.

Chhattisgarh Tourism presented Bilasa Handloom Emporium, which showcased the rich craftsmanship and artistic traditions of the region. Each meticulously woven creation told a story of culture, skill, and sustainability. Bilasa's handlooms ensembles were a tribute to the artisans and a celebration of the timeless beauty of traditional textiles of the state.
