Little Shilpa set the mood for the day with her collection of military style accessories. Models sashayed down in khaki outfits enhanced with antique-looking colourful badges, medals and emblems. One couldnt ignore the chains, belts, ribbons and unique head pieces including rifles coming out of the hair. Shilpa received a thunderous applause to her individual take. Now, if only we could have our army men dressed up with so much style. Malini Agarwallas Malaga was next with an interesting line of bags, shoes and accessories inspired by Egyption style motifs and Tibetan art. Simple black dresses were offset with sturdy bags with eagle motifs and compact clutches studded with turquoise and red coral stones.
Showstopper Sonakshi Sinha walked with an elaborate tribal style neckpiece. Next up was Crimzon by Sonali Dalwani which made a powerful statement with the black and gold line. Also seen were a range of shoes and clutches studded with semi-precious gemstones to give an Egyptian royal effect. Ending the show on a sweet note, was Stoffa by Hersh & Malini Kotecha and Priyanka Tejwani with actress Madhoo walking down with her adorable daughters. The collection is for women of all ages and consisted of bags and shoes of different textures, motifs and appliqus. Following in her mothers footsteps was Queenies daughter Tiara who demurely took to the ramp with a transparent trendy bag and flower embossed footwear.
