Delhi Times Lifestyle Week

The Delhi Times Fashion Week in association with Kohler and Panasonic Beauty marked a stylish debut, courtesy some amazing creations by six of India's most popular designers. Here's a look at few of the finest designs from the fashion extravaganza.

Mandira Wirk

When it comes to creating drama on the stage, there's no one better than designer Mandira Wirk. The show, which marked the grand opening of the Delhi Times Lifestyle Week, saw flawless drapes and vibrant shades. From cocktail dresses to concept gowns, lehengas and shararas, the intricate floral embroidery on the garments became the talking point.

​ Samant Chauhan

A simple collection showcasing Bhagalpuri silk with designs that had a touch of the Victorian era and some stunning jewellery by Suna. The designer’s signature gowns with structured shoulders and balloon sleeves were part of the collection. Models wearing unibrows added to the drama on the ramp.

​Rocky S

Rocky Star's showcased a collection in rose gold, the colour of the range of new faucets by the luxury brand - Kohler.

​ Siddartha Tytler

Designer Siddartha Tytler presented a line with monochromes. Interesting embroidery on long skirts paired with zipper tops and dresses made the collection perfect for occasion wear. The designer presented different versions of the dhoti drape in his collection. It wasn't just the dhoti pants for men, but also the unstitched fabric was draped differently to present a fusion look on the ramp. Embroidery remained the highlight of the collection.

​ Pia Pauro

Designer Pia Pauro, who's famous for her resort wear, presented her beachwear inspired by a music festival in Udaipur. Blue, red, purple and white with bright embroidery patterns were a part of the collection. Kaftan tops, flared dresses, long gowns and shorts paired with jackets stole the show.

Shane and Falguni Peacock

The last show of Day 2 was by Mumbai based Shane and Falguni Peacock. Great attention was paid to detailing and structure in the garments and the designs dazzled the ramp with shiny tassels. The designer duo brought back power shoulders with flared sleeves and spiked sleeves.
