All that shine

Designer Hema Kaul gave bling a whole new meaning. Her collection was all about sequins and glitter.

A collection dedicated to women

4/17

A shimmery affair

The ensembles shimmered with sequins and lace, in colours that would take you from day to night. Beautiful pearl white jackets, trousers and jumpsuits were the highlights of the show.

5/17

Timeless fashion

The collection aimed at promoting global fashion. The designer feels that fashion is no more season based and people are travelling throughout the year.

6/17

Bold hues

"This time I have shifted from pastels to bold colours and you can see a lot of black and red. My muse is someone who knows the drama of being the centre of attraction," shared Hema Kaul.

Beauty in black

Waluscha De Sousa became the showstopper for designer Hema Kaul. She walked in a black gown. "Black has always been my go-to colour. And this outfit made me feel comfy on stage. My personal style is very understated and right from my accessories to prints I always prefer going minimal, clear and crisp," said Waluscha in a statement.

Pallavi Goyal’s Khwabeeda is all about dreams and creativity

Pallavi Goyal's 'Khwabeeda' collection was inspired by the designer's fascination for petit point embroidery used by the royal families of France, in the 18th century. The ensembles showcased, took us back in time and yet seemed so perfect for the modern day bride.

A floral touch

The opening of the show was done by TV actress, Chahat Khanna. She wore a green pastel coloured lehenga featuring floral designs.

Love for pastel hues

"Pastel and floral are my favourite and when I saw the outfit and fresh floral accessories I fell for it. I feel like a princess who is confident and fun loving," Chahat commented on the outfit.

Floral power

The showstopper for the show was Soha Ali Khan, who walked in a floral bridal lehenga. The pastel pink shade created a perfect canvas for the colourful design work.

12/17

New-age bride

"I think this is what every Indian bride wants these days - simple, light in weight and on point. I was not sure about the trail but the wire detailing kept it in place," said Soha Ali Khan

The stunning showstoppers

Payal Goal expressed her thoughts post the show and said, "I am glad Chahat Khanna and Soha Ali Khan walked for me. They are effortlessly beautiful and the way they carried the outfits was a treat to the eyes.
