Model and TV celebrity, Malaika Arora stirred up things at Bombay Times Fashion Week with her elegant entry as a showstopper at designer Asra Syed's beautiful fashion showcase on Day 1 of the fashion extravaganza.

​Malaika's ensemble

Malaika totally owned the ramp as she sashayed across the ramp in a modern-day lehenga from World of Asra. The beauty stunned in a red rust lehenga with elaborate embroidery. The lehenga set comprised a skirt with a geometrical patterns, showcased by golden gotta patti and sequence. The choli was more like a Victorian blouse with separate puff sleeves and a bralette.

Asra Syed is a well-known fashion designer based in Mumbai. She launched her fashion label ‘ASRA’ in the year 2018. Since then, ASRA has been setting trends in the fashion and styling industry with their unusual ideas and creative outfits.

​The collection

Asra's latest collection ‘Chashni’ is inspired by a word used for an Indian sweetener that blends well with any Indian dessert. The collection has a likeness to Chashni as she has tried to showcase a beautiful range of gender neutral embroidery blended just right with the silhouettes.
