Janhvi Kapoor makes a memorable debut at Paris Haute Couture Week

Indian film actress Janhvi Kapoor, known for her impeccable style and grace, made a stunning debut at Paris Haute Couture Week. The star of Mr. & Mrs. Mahi captivated the audience as she walked the runway for the internationally renowned Indian designer Rahul Mishra.

Radiant and confident, Janhvi dazzled in an exquisite ensemble from Mishra’s Couture Fall 2024 collection, Aura. Her look featured a mermaid-style skirt with an elegant train, paired with an intricately embellished bustier top. This ethereal combination, inspired by the theme of Aura, highlighted Janhvi’s unique charm and poise.

The holographic skirt, adorned with shimmering embroidered details, added a mystical element to her runway appearance. While Janhvi has previously worn bustiers on the runway, her confident presence made this outfit truly stand out.


With her hair styled in soft waves and minimal makeup enhancing her natural beauty, Janhvi embodied a perfect blend of glamour and sophistication.

Rahul Mishra’s collection, primarily in shades of black and grey, beautifully captured the depth and mystery associated with an individual’s aura. Describing his inspiration, Mishra shared on Instagram, “Each individual is perceived to have an aura which represents their electromagnetic field, similar to that of the earth, and their emitted vibrations that connect them to and facilitate their interaction with the rest of the universe.”

He further explained, “As one gazes into an infinite black sky, they ponder whether they are observing nothingness or an abundance of the unknown. According to theory, a jiva (living being) is a combination of three factors: body, mind, and soul, which together form an aura. This collection attempts to articulate, through couture clothing, how this omnipresent aura may interact with a living body, making it a vessel for a part of this energy and drawing greatness from it.”

Rahul Mishra and his wife, Divya Mishra, have been enchanting audiences with their creations on the Paris runway for years. There is anticipation that Mishra will showcase this collection at India Couture Week 2024 in New Delhi this July, bringing a touch of Parisian elegance to Indian fashion enthusiasts.
