Designer Pallavi Jaikishan, who has dressed the who's who of the country over the past four decades, celebrates 42 years of her epynomous label with an elegant celebration being hosted at a vintage location in South Mumbai this evening. Pallavi’s couture, comprising saris, lehengas, ornate kurtas and sari gowns, are treasured by her clients. Her creations are classic yet versatile with an avante garde modern touch given to even the most traditional outfit while retaining its richness of embroidery, detailing and texture.
“My garments are timeless classics that no amount of changes in fashion trends can overrule,” says Pallavi. Each garment is designed and handcrafted exclusively by her. Her signature style remains, to date — subtle, elegant and sophisticated.
This evening pays tribute to her style of understated elegance, old world charm and romance. The soiree will be held at Kemps Corner at 7.30 pm tonight.
