Triptii Dimri may have moved on from her ‘Laila Majnu’ era, but her latest traditional look speaks a different story and instantly takes us back to the timeless romantic time with her fashion choices. Stepping out in a stunning marodi-work sharara set from the collection of designer Punit Balana, the actress channelled an ethereal charm that first made the audience fall in love with her on screen.

Her sharara set came in a mist-blue Chanderi shade featuring a sleeveless kurti with buttis. And then came the stunning marodi and mirror-work embroidered yoke, which elevated the simplicity of the kurta and made it look absolutely dreamy. She matched the kurta’s aura with a two-tiered Chanderi silk gharara, decorated with floral vines and motifs that hinted at the beauty of spring and summer.

But Triptii didn’t just stop right there and add an ombré silk organza dupatta in a henna green shade with mist blue strokes. It came with tasselled edges, which completed the look in seconds and elevated her overall frame.

She accessorised the look with a stack of bangles, mesmerising chandelier earrings decorated with enamel work, and a statement ring. Styled by Lakshmi Lehr, she understood the fashion assignment and balanced her entire look without making the edges overwhelming for a day event.

Triptii's makeup also followed the same philosophy, where she started with a simple glowing base, kohl-rimmed eyes, and a small bindi with a centre-parted bombshell blowout. Be it the intricate craftsmanship or the regal detailing, her ensemble indeed felt like a modern-day ode to the old-world romance and looked equally elegant yet cinematic.
