Newlywed glow, minus the glitter

In a refreshing departure from their usual newlywed playbook of vibrant hues and stunning ensembles, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda now made a compelling case for subtle and understated elegance. The duo were recently spotted at a serene temple visit, where they kept their soft and simple fashion lookbook, which felt relatable to their fans and was deeply rooted in tradition. Let’s decode their looks for the day, where they prove that post-wedding style doesn’t always have to be loud.

Rashmika’s simple blue Chikankari look

The new bride in town kept things elegant and simple in a soothing sky-blue kurta, which perfectly captured the true essence of summer dressing ease. She wore a split crew-neck, full-length Chikankari kurta with elbow-length sleeves, which struck the right balance between style and comfort. The intricate Lucknowi Chikankari embroidery spread across the fabric added just the right traditional charm, making things look absolutely subtle and chic.

Ditching the over-the-top styling

Newlywed brides are usually expected to deck themselves up in stunning jewels and vibrant ensembles. But Rashmika ditched this aesthetic and rather went for a simpler route where she elegantly wore her traditional mangalsutra and completed the look with a pair of relaxed-fit jeans, making her day out comfortable and perfect for a day under the heat. She wore a small tikka on her forehead and added a hint of sindoor, which brought the soft, newlywed touch and elevated her outfit.

Vijay Deverakonda’s relaxed-fit touch

After taking the groom's wedding styling to the next level with his iconic looks, Vijay Deverakonda followed his bride’s styling philosophy and went with something simpler and more casual. For the traditional outing, he went with a light beige kurta with a half-buttoned placket, which carried a subtle pleated detailing on one side and kept an open neckline, which gave the perfect laid-back and breezy touch.

Next came the styling notes

He matched its prowess with a chocolate brown relaxed-fit pair of pants, adding contrast to his neutral palette, which looked truly subtle. He accessorised the look with a delicate gold chain, layered it with a pendant, and brought the right amount of shine with a groomed beard, his signature tousled hair, and of course, the tilak on his forehead, which completed the look.
