The talk of the town wedding

Bollywood playback singer Neha Kakkar is always in the news for her soul-touching songs which instantly go viral online. The singer is also known as a fashionista and tries to carry bright and colourful outfits with grace and poise. In 2020, she married fellow singer Rohanpreet Singh, after the two fell in love on the sets of their music video titled, ‘Nehu Da Vyah.’ Since then, the two have been often seen indulging in PDA while setting a some serious couple goals. Let's do a throwback to this lovely wedding and Neha Kakkar's stunning wedding lehenga.

Her wedding lehenga deets

Her wedding lehenga was in shades of pastel pink and white and was thought to be an inspiration from Anushka Sharma’s pastel wedding lehenga which started the pastel wedding trend in Bollywood. Neha Kakkar looked stunning in this heavy flared pink and white sheer-net-hued lehenga with intricate embroidery all over the dupatta, whereas she completed the look with a half-sleeved heavy embroidered high-neck blouse.

Love of jewellery that whispered

The stunner wore a heavy choker-style necklace in the shades of pink and silver with matching earrings, maang tikka, and a side passa which looked fancy and royal. She simply wore contrasting but traditional silver and red bangles, with stunning golden kaleeras having a beautiful cube-like structure with long tangles in a golden hue. The whole attire looked glamorous with her jewellery designs and looked perfect for the occasion.

The minimal hair and makeup call

Neha Kakkar understood the assignment and never wanted to steal the show by sharing the limelight from her attire. Therefore, she kept a nude and pink blush layer of makeup with light-pink minimal eye makeup, minimal kohl eyes, and heavy strokes of mascara. It was followed by a pink gloss nude shade of lipstick and a stroke of mild pink blush with a decent pink small bindi, and a sleek low bun with side curled flicks.

A gift from Sabyasachi

Post her wedding, the singer shared the news and deeply thanked designer Sabyasachi for creating a beautiful vision for her and gifting the creation on her wedding day. Yes, her wedding lehenga was a gift from the ace Indian designer, as he is known for his aesthetic and royal ethnic lehengas and saris which have recently taken over the global media as well. However, for her mehendi, Neha opted for an Anita Dongre outfit, whereas her red lehenga was a Falguni Shane Peacock creation.

A series of trolling

Unfortunately, the singer was heavily trolled on her wedding outfits and was trolled for copying all her looks from the wedding attires of Bollywood biggies Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, and Deepika Padukone. Her red lehenga look was said to be a copy of Priyanka Chopra’s traditional red lehenga. Neha Kakkar’s pink wedding lehenga was compared to Anushka Sharma’s wedding lehenga, whereas the reception white lehenga look was almost a replica of Deepika Padukone’s white reception lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
