Highlights from the fashion week

Lakme Fashion Week, in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India, had several moments from the four-day-long fashion carnival. From Saisha Shinde calling out the celebrity showstoppers walking for almost every other big designer at fashion week and making the backstage folks and models real heroes, to Sushmita Sen being hailed for her walk after her return on the ramp post surviving a heart attack. Here are the highlights from the fashion week.

Fans cheered for Sushmita Sen as she sauntered down the ramp two week after her angioplasty for designer Anushree Reddy at Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. She looked vivacious in a yellow lehenga. She indeed deserves an applause for her indomitable spirit.
