Aishwarya Rai shuts down Cannes no-show panic

After days of whispers about whether the reigning Cannes queen would skip the iconic festival this year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally made her move, and it seems that the internet has breathed again. Decked up in an all-black airport look, twinning with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, the global icon is now leaving for the French Riviera, and her fans are already in a meltdown mode online.

Leaving in signature all-black glam

For her airport look, Aishwarya chose to slay in a sharp black buttoned blazer with a strong lapel and floral-sequined black embroidered patches, which were scattered around and instantly started to throw glitter like the stars under the paparazzi flashes. She completed the look with a pair of straight-fit black office pants and carried another black cover-up with her iconic black heeled boots and a stunning black bag with brown handles.

Throwing glam like confetti

Aishwarya made sure to look glamorous and opted for a highlighted makeup base with defined eyebrows, mascara-laden eyes, rosy eyeshadow, winged eyeliner glam, rosy cheeks decked up with highlighter charm, and her signature rosy lips, which brought the whole look together. But her hair game stole the show, where she kept her signature sleek straightened hair and gave a fresh dark mahogany edge to it.

Aaradhya is twinning with the queen bee

Walking hand-in-hand with her mother, Aaradhya was also spotted at the airport and carried a twinning all-black outfit. She wore a pair of black flared jeans exuding Y2K glam, with a white and black top featuring small buttons at the centre with simple V-neckline detailing. She wore a black leather jacket over it and completed the look with simple sneakers, a black sling bag, and open locks.

Well, this diva’s definitely worth it!

Well, social media is howling right now with posts with captions 'The queen is coming' and is already treating her departure like the official start of the Cannes Film Festival when she’s really entering to close the show. Her delayed appearance is also being linked with an exclusive campaign for L'Oréal Paris, which is yet to be unveiled. Her hype and fandom literally prove that Cannes without Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is just not the same spectacle, and the queen is surely coming with looks that are beyond one’s expectations.
