Lohri

Originally a festival of the Punjabi’s, Lohri is celebrated with great fervour. The festival is celebrated every year at the beginning of the year to mark new beginnings and happiness. The harvest festival which falls on the 13th of January this year is celebrated the night before Makar Sankranti during the month of Paush or Magh in a grand way.
