Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is one of the most celebrated Hindu festivals in India. It falls on the tenth day of Navratri, a nine-day festival dedicated to the worship of the Goddess Durga. On this day, idols of Goddess Durga are immersed in water, concluding the Navratri celebrations. Dussehra is also a day to honour Goddess Durga, who represents divine feminine energy and power.
