As the title suggests, 'Mis(s) Adventures of a Salesgirl' follows the story of a 25-year-old Enakshi Chatterji, as she moves from Delhi to Chennai for her sales internship. While trying to establish her life in a new city and job, she discovers an old family secret about her mother... And, as if this wasn't enough, Enakshi soon starts on a course of self-destruction with a weekend getaway with her stalker and a movie date with her boss.
Aashisha's novel takes the readers on a roller-coaster ride. And while it is a fun-read, the story also touches upon the themes of patriarchy, misogyny, unwanted sexual advances, male chauvinism, among many others.
