Romantic comedies to spark love and joy this Valentine

With February comes the urge to read romance novels. Romances have many subgenres and one of the most popular ones is romantic comedy. The comedy in no way lessens the intensity of love in the books but only adds to the whole joyous experience of love. Here are the romantic comedies shortlisted for the 2021 Romantic Novel Award's Romantic Comedy Novel Award category:

Someday at Christmas by Lizzie Byron

Christmas at the Island Hotel by Jenny Colgan

Set in a hotel in Mure, an island halfway between Scotland and Norway, this book follows a host of characters from different backgrounds. It is the fourth book of the Mure books. Though one doesn't need to read the earlier instalments to follow this one, it would be more enjoyable to see the development of the relationships between the characters.
