Shakespeare's sonnets

Though the plots and prose of his plays are as relevant today as they were a century ago, Shakespeare is also known for his timeless sonnets. Sonnets are poems with a specific format and rhyme scheme. Shakespeare wrote on love, friendship, heartbreak, nature, humanity and most of these sonnets were parts of his plays. The emotion he conveys with his witty words can warm even the most unromantic heart and can be comforting, as the emotions they invoke are timeless. Here are some memorable lines from his sonnets which will bring a smile to your face.
