If you don't know, the words that we can't do without today, like swagger, uncomfortable, lonely, critic, bandit, elbow, dauntless etc did not exist before Shakespeare. Born some 455 years ago, the famous bard and playwright William Shakespeare is not just known for his timeless works but also for creating thousands of new words and phrases. And just like his plays, these words and phrases are relevant even now and are in fact commonly used in the English language.
