10 types of readers. Which one are you?

All readers and bibliophiles have one thing in common-- their love for books. But otherwise, every reader is different in his own way. While some like to read physical books, some others prefer reading books only written by their favourite authors, whereas there are some people who are committed to reading only books of a series. So here we list down ten different kinds of readers and their traits. Which one do you relate to the most?

The hoarder

You not only love reading books, but you also love owning them! Either you are a bibliomaniac-- you hoard books on purpose to create your own home library or you are guilty of Tsundoku, i.e. piling plenty of unread books. Whichever category you fall into, your love for books is evident to anyone who enters your home.

The weekend binge reader

You are busy during the week, but your weekends are booked for books! No matter what, you take time out for some binge reading sessions to catch up with your favourite characters.

The soap-opera reader

You follow all the books in the series, whether they are good or not. Standalone novels don't interest you much. You are all about long-term commitment-- you love returning to your fictional world and its characters again and again.

You love discussing everything that you read but in the process you unintentionally give away spoilers. You have this urge to share all the minute details of a story with whoever is willing to listen to you. While people are nice to you, deep within they fear the spoilers you have to offer.

I am an avid reader of books. I prefer non fiction books, especially political books written by late Govind Talwalkar, Girish Kuber and so on. Secondly I like to books on real facts happened in the past for example " A house on Garibaldi Street " written by Harrel. However I have missed a book written by Gunther, " the deserter " and Uma Vasudev's book " Two Faces of Indira Gandhi ". Similarly I have read, " Amritsar" written by Mark Tully Satish Jacob. And of course " Not without my daughter ".
