Our idea of bridal wear and bridal makeup for long has been the one which is in sync with the grand scheme of weddings. While a lot has already changed about how weddings take place, a lot more changes seem to be on their way. Besides guest lists, destination and food, bride’s makeup is what has significantly changed, feels Celebrity makeup artist, Samaira Sandhu. We caught up with the makeup pro and this is what she had to say about the no-makeup look.
Even while a number of brides still wish to go for opulent dresses and heavy makeup looks, there are others who want to keep it simple and minimalistic. They intend to put on for their special day what is known as the ‘no makeup’ or sometimes the ‘natural’ look. It is the kind of look which doesn’t lead to any significant changes in skin-tone, lip colour and certain other features of a bride. The look allows a bride to feel like ‘herself’ on the big day.
As Kardashian sisters and a number of other celebrities are often seen in no makeup looks, it has become a global beauty trend. The millennial brides cannot help but get influenced by a look which is trending all across the world and social media. So a no makeup look is what they want while entering into the wedlock or say, while celebrating their day of love.
It is just simply amazing to see how more and more brides want to ‘wear makeup like they’re wearing no makeup’!
