Achieve healthy and glowing skin

We live with a common misconception that skincare routines are just for women. However, we forget in the process that men also deal with wrinkles, and acne caused due to sweat and stress, and deal with dry and sensitive skin just like women do. However, you will rarely find a detailed skincare routine and products in a men’s cabinet which would be effective for their skin and would prevent their skin from getting damaged. Do not worry, as we won’t ask you to go through those 12 layers, but simply follow this 5-minute and 5-step skincare regime for men and witness the change.

Step 1: Start with a cleanser twice a day

Do not double cleanse but start using a gentle cleanser twice a day and clear the dirt from your pores caused by sweat and pollution. The cleansing process is a unisex formula that is designed to detox your skin and deep clean your pores. Men can opt for no fragrance cleansers which are effective in removing pollution residues as well, giving you a heavy metal detox.

Step 2: Exfoliate your skin twice a week

Women always take the exfoliation process very seriously as exfoliation cleans up the dead skin cells which eventually lead to ingrown hairs and acne. Use a gentle exfoliator that can easily be used on acne-prone and oily skin, transforming your dull skin into a clear and luminous one. The exfoliation process renews the pores and brightens your skin cells as well. But, if you have sensitive skin then you can gently follow this process once a week.

Step 3: Use a serum

Men can skip the toning process but should use a serum that should contain skin-boosting chemicals seeping deep into the skin. Men can use the simple but effective vitamin C booster serum and improve the appearance of dark spots, pores, blemishes, and more, and simply creates a natural brightening effect.

Step 4: Use an eye cream

Men mostly deal with heavy undereye issues and puffy eyes which they tend to ignore. It is very common and should not be avoided. Therefore, to create a guard around the eyes, start using hydrated under-eye creams with anti-ageing properties which would reduce the appearance of dark circles, wrinkles, and puffiness as well. Men need to apply the cream twice a day for maximum effect.

Step 5: Seal the deal with a moisturiser or sunscreen

At night your final step should be using a good hydrating moisturiser which would keep your skin firm, restore the skin’s balance after cleansing and shaving, and keep the cells nourished and hydrated. On the other hand, if you’re going out during the day, always step out wearing good sunscreen which would not cause redness, tanning, blemishes, or pigmentation, and can also result in issues of fine lines and wrinkles in the long run.
