Anas Rashid ties the knot: Diya Aur Baati Hum's Sooraj aka Anas Rashid, who got engaged earlier this year in April, married Heena Iqbal on September 9. The groom told The Times Of India the he now feels content and complete.

Since the actor hails from Malerkotla in Punjab, the wedding and other rituals took place at his residence, in his hometown.

Anas' house was all decked up for the occasion with lights, ready to welcome his wife after the ceremonies.

Apart from the pre-wedding rituals, the actor hasn't posted any picture from the wedding yet. However, there are a lot of pictures that have surfaced online, where Anas looks happy with his bride.

While the actor chose to wear a warm, off-white Sherwani, Heena opted for a gorgeous pink and sea-green lehenga.

The two also happily posed for the shutterbugs, and also their friends and family who were present at the occasion.

Anas' wife, Heena Iqbal, is a corporate professional from Chandigarh. Heena is 14 years younger to the 38-year-old telly actor.

Their Dawaat-e-walima (reception) was on September 10.

When asked why he opted for an arranged marriage, Anas replied "I had complete faith on my parents' choice. Also, I felt that I was ready to take on the responsibilities associated with an arranged marriage."

The actor has left it up to Henna to decide their honeymoon location. He told The Times Of India, "We haven't planned anything yet. Heena knows more about this than me and I trust her choice. She knows my taste and we will zero in on a destination keeping both our choices in mind."
