Telangana assembly elections 2018

Telangana is all set to go to polls on December 7, 2018 for its 119 assembly seats. The elections will take place in single phase. On September 6, 2018, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) had dissolved the Assembly, paving way for early elections. In the first Lok Sabha election following the carving out of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh, the K Chandhrashekar Rao-led TRS won 11 of the 17 parliamentary seats with a 34.9% vote share. Congress, which won 2 seats, had a 24.7% vote share while TDP and BJP secured one seat each with 12.3% and 10.5% vote share, respectively. Here's more:
