The

CWC

held its meeting in the national capital today to deliberate upon the Congress's poor showing in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The Congress managed to win just 52 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha, only a marginal improvement from its 2014 tally, when it had won 44 seats. In 18 states and Union Territories, the party could not even open its account.

"Congress president Rahul Gandhi in his address to the CWC offered his resignation as the party president. The CWC unanimously and with one voice rejected the same and requested the

Congress President

for his leadership and guidance in these challenging times," said the resolution passed by CWC.

"The CWC has requested Rahul to lead and guide the party in this challenging time. It also called upon Rahul to lead the party in its ideological battle and champion the cause of India's youth, the farmers, the SC, ST, OBCs, the minorities, the poor and the deprived sections," the Congress told reporters after the conclusion of the

CWC meet

.

The Congress said its highest decision-making body has authorized Rahul to completely overhaul the party, adding that a restructuring plan will be rolled out soon. Addressing reporters after the meeting, senior leader Veerappa Moily admitted that the Congress did not meet the expectations, but refused to call the party's performance "disastrous".

Fantastic! I remember how after loss of face and mounting internal troubles,Nehru called K. Kamaraj to Delhi. Kamaraj had that unique quality- a leader and also a loyal party worker to his leader. To tackle all internal troubles that now famous K-Plan was implemented- It was a ''''''''code'''''''' used to send away revolting party seniors from holding juicy ministries- to party posts! After 55or 56 years, Congress has given full freedom to and all of us Ji, who submitted resignation to himself and forwarded it to mother Superior- To reorganize party! [ Yet another K-plan?- But none to resign ministerial posts as, Congress is out of power?]. OH, HOW WILL WE SEE CONGRESS ENACT SAME SCENES WITHOUT TIRING FOR SO LONG? You know, Indira won a majority of her own- BUT, had tactical alliances with regional parties, like DMK. She wanted that same Kamaraj,[ who was then with Syndicate] on whom her father relied to save Nehru from possible revolt- to be shamed- AND she did it! After her untimely utal death, Rajiv won a majority. Then on - till today- it is only coalitions that keep Congress relevant in politics- See how in TN recently, it won seats riding on back of DMK ( and also got more votes - it rose from 4.37 % in 2014 to 12.76 % , now! ) With in family, all correspondence - as President Plus Gen, Secy, Pus Chairman Or, woman etc. UNHEARD of. like K-plan I read more offers to resign from OTHERS, now that and all of us is SAFE?] How back-boneless are congress- men, to stomach all THESE tamashas!
