FARIDABAD (HARYANA): A Special Environment Court here trying the blackbuck poaching case involving former India cricket skipper Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and seven others on Wednesday deferred its order on the bail plea of the accused to November 6. Pataudi and the others were present in the court when the judge posted the case for the next hearing despite the counsel for NGO People For Animals pleading that their bail applications be rejected.
The case, relating to the hunting of the endangered deer species in 2005, was transferred to the special court from Jhajjar on the directive of the Punjab and Haryana Court.
