PM Modi, Shivraj Singh Chouhan 'stole' people's mandate' in MP last time: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed confidence that the party will win more than 150 seats in the upcoming elections in Madhya Pradesh. He stated that their first priority, once in power, will be to protect the interests of women, youths, farmers, and laborers. Rahul alleged that the BJP had bought Congress MLAs in 2018 and accused PM Modi, Amit Shah, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan of being involved in horse-trading. He urged voters to remember the promises of Congress and not let the BJP steal the people's mandate again.

BHOPAL: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Tuesday that the party is set to sweep the elections in MP and will win no less than 150 seats. Once Congress government is formed, its first priority would be to protect the interests of women, youths, farmers and labourers, he said.
Congress will get an overwhelming majority because people realise that they had given the mandate to Congress in 2018 but BJP bought some Congress MLAs for several crores, Rahul claimed at a public meeting in Khargapur, Tikamgarh district.
1x1 polls

"PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Shivraj Singh Chouhan were involved in this horse-trading. They cheated the farmers, women and youth of MP," Rahul alleged.
He said that PM Modi and CM Chouhan had "stolen the people's mandate" the last time. "When you vote on November 17, keep the promises of Congress in mind. Our government had just begun working for farmers and the working classes, the last time when BJP toppled it through use of money," Rahul said.
