BHOPAL: Parliamentary elections will be held in four phases in Madhya Pradesh—polls for the first phase will be held on April 19 and polling for the last phase of election in the state will be held on May 15.

With the announcement of parliamentary elections, model code of conduct has come into force in the state.

As per the schedule of election announced by ECI, elections will be held in Madhya Pradesh during the first four phases of the 7 phase parliamentary elections. During the first phase election will be held in six constituencies namely Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Chhindwara—the only constituency where INC is incumbent—on April 19.

During the second phase of elections in the state on April 26, polling will be held in six constituencies namely Tikamgarh, Damoh, Khajuraho, Satna, Rewa, Hoshangabad and Betul.

During the third phase of elections on May 7, voting will be held in 8 constituencies of state namely Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Bhopal and Rajgarh.

And in the last phase of parliamentary elections in the state, voting will be held across 8 constituencies namely Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Indore, Khargone and Khandwa.

Results will be announced on June 6 for all the constituencies.
