Lok Sabha election 2024: Candidates who won by a close margin

In Maharashtra's Mumbai North West constituency, the Shiv Sena (SS) candidate Ravindra Dattaram Waikar narrowly edged out the SS(UBT) candidate Amol Gajanan Kirtikar. Both candidates garnered 47.4% of the vote, but Waikar managed to secure victory by a slender margin of 48 votes, amounting to just 0.01%.

In Kerala's Attingal constituency, the Congress (CONG) candidate Adv Adoor Prakash emerged victorious with 33.29% of the vote, narrowly defeating the CPM candidate V Joy, who secured 33.22%. The winning margin was a close 684 votes, which translated to 0.07%.

In Odisha's Jajpur (SC) constituency, the BJP candidate Rabindra Narayan Behera won with 46.01% of the vote, defeating the BJD candidate Sarmistha Sethi, who received 45.87%. The margin of victory was 1587 votes, or 0.14%.

In Rajasthan's Jaipur Rural constituency, the BJP candidate Rao Rajendra Singh secured 48.96% of the vote, narrowly defeating the Congress candidate Anil Chopra, who garnered 48.83%. The margin of victory was 1615 votes, amounting to 0.13%.

In Chhattisgarh's Kanker (ST) constituency, the BJP candidate Bhojraj Nag won with 47.23% of the vote, narrowly beating the Congress candidate Biresh Thakur, who received 47.08%. The winning margin was 1884 votes, or 0.15%.

In Chandigarh's sole constituency, the Congress candidate Manish Tewari secured victory with 48.22% of the vote, narrowly defeating the BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon, who garnered 47.67%. The margin of victory was 2504 votes, translating to 0.56%.

In Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur constituency, the SP candidate Ajendra Singh Lodhi won with 44% of the vote, narrowly beating the BJP candidate Kunwar Pushpendra Singh Chandel, who received 43.76%. The winning margin was 2629 votes, or 0.24%.

In Lakshadweep's (ST) constituency, the Congress candidate Mohammed Faizal PP won with 52.29% of the vote, defeating the NCP(SP) candidate who secured 46.91%. The margin of victory was 2647 votes, amounting to 5.38%.

In Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad constituency, the BJP candidate Mukesh Rajput emerged victorious with 47.2% of the vote, narrowly defeating the SP candidate Dr. Naval Kishor Shakya, who garnered 46.94%. The margin of victory was 2678 votes, or 0.26%.

In Uttar Pradesh's Bansgaon (SC) constituency, the BJP candidate Kamlesh Paswan won with 45.38% of the vote, narrowly beating the Congress candidate Sadal Prasad, who received 45.04%. The margin of victory was 3150 votes, or 0.33%.
