Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren skips ED call again, files plea in high court against summons

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren did not appear at the zonal office of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in the land scam but filed a petition before the HC, challenging the issuance of summons to him by the central agency.

So far, the ED has issued four summons to the CM for questioning and he has skipped all of them. In his voluminous petition, Soren questioned the authority and the jurisdiction of the ED for issuing summons to him.In his petition, Soren requested the HC to stay the summons issued by the ED.
