NEW DELHI: The Army "very recently" destroyed Pakistani military posts in Rajouri with punitive artillery assaults, to give "a befitting reply to the Pakistan military which aids infiltration into the Indian side" in Jammu and Kashmir.

On Saturday, the Army engaged a group of terrorists who were trying to infiltrate and cornered them around the Kisan post in the Naugam sector. The encounter, which lasted more than 24 hours, ended on Sunday evening and left seven people dead, including three soldiers.
