NEW DELHI: Gaya is one of the 40 parliamentary constituencies of Bihar. The Election Commission of India announced the date of Lok Sabha elections on March 16. Bihar will go to polls in 7 phases.
CandidatesIn the 2024 candidates list for the Gaya Lok Sabha constituency include Kumar Sarvjeet of RJD and Jitan Ram Manjhi of HAM(S) among others. The former is a part of the Mahagathbandhan alliance while the latter is a part of NDA bloc.

Lok Sabha 2019 resultIn the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Gaya witnessed a voter turnout of 55.8%. Vijay Kumar of the JD(U) emerged victorious by receiving 48.79% of the votes polled.
