From t-shirts to masks and bags, how Congress intensified 'Modi-Adani' protest in Parliament

The winter session of Parliament began on November 25, with both Houses adjourning early due to disruptions. The session will continue until December 20.

The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day following disruptions during the proceedings. After the House was adjourned for the day, Priyanka Gandhi told reporters, "Either the government does not want to run the House, or they are not capable of running the House." (Agencies)

The protest on Tuesday comes a day after leaders of some INDIA bloc parties protested in Parliament complex over the Adani row, with Rahul Gandhi conducting a mock 'interview' over the issue with Congress members wearing masks of Prime Minister Modi and industrialist Gautam Adani. (PTI)

The opposition also staged a protest outside the Parliament wearing t-shirts with slogan "Modi Adani ek hai" and held a protest march.

The BJP had responded to this with a poster which said "Rahul-Soros ek hai".

The Congress have demanded a joint parliamentary committee on the matter and have also asked for the attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the House sessions.

Rahul Gandhi and sister Priyanka along with other opposition leaders held a protest march outside Parliament on Friday as well.

Standing in front of the Makar Dwar steps in Parliament premises, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge along with MPs of other opposition parties had on Monday raised slogans of "Modi, Adani ek hain" and "we want justice". (PTI)
