Fire broke out in the Free Press building in Mumbai on Sunday night but was immediately brought under control.
MUMBAI: A fire broke out on the sixth floor of the Free Press building in south Mumbai on Sunday night but was immediately brought under control, fire brigade sources said. No one has been injured in the incident, the sources said. "The fire was caused due to electrical short-circuit in an AC window," the sources said. A senior journalist of the Free Press Journal, which also has its editorial office in the same building, said the sixth floor office, where the fire broke out, did not house any of the newspaper departments.
