Dubey murder: undertrial flees
PATNA: Mantu Kumar, an undertrial lodged in the high-security Beur jail in connection with the killing of NHAI whistleblower Satyendra Dubey, on Tuesday escaped after giving a slip to the police at the civil court premises here.
Mantu, who along with three other accused was brought to the court of the Additional District judge (Seven) by the jail authorities for appearancce in the murder case, managed to flee, police said.

Stern action would be taken against the policemen for the lapse on their parts, sources said.
Raids were being carried out at different places to arrest Mantu.
Special public prosecutor for CBI, L R Ansari said that the agency had already chargesheeted Mantu Kumar and three others involved in the killing of Dubey, an NHAI official, who was killed after he wrote to the Prime Minister about corruption in the golden quadrilateral project two years ago.
