Students of Haatgachha Haridas Vidyapith in New Town, had been copying hairstyles of their favourite celebrities to look like them. Among celebs who have been imitated the most by the students were

Bollywood

actors Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and international footballers like Neymar, Ronaldo etc.

But this did not go well with the school authorities, as they asked the students not to sport such hairstyles inside school premises.

But the reluctant students did not want to obey the new rules. So, the headmaster approached the parlours, from where the students were getting their haircut done.

Headmaster Partha Sarathi Das said, "I was performing my duties" adding that "they need to be disciplined at home also." He also mentioned that though the school is for both boys and girls, they have not faced any such issues among primary classes.
