Death to man, his parents for beheading wife

Bareilly: Taking into consideration the brutality of the crime, a fast-track court in Bareilly sentenced a man and his parents to death for beheading his wife in 2024 for dowry.
The court also strongly condemned the dowry practice among families, stating that "if this malpractice is not stopped, future generations will suffer its consequences".
The 24-year-old victim was murdered inside her house in Bareilly on May 1, 2024. tnn
