Couple, 2 children killed in accident in J&K

JAMMU: A couple and their two children died when their car fell into a gorge in Bhandarkote of J&K’s Kishtwar district on Thursday afternoon, police said. Another son of the couple was injured in the accident.

Five members of the family were travelling from Kishtwar to Bhandarkote. Yasir Hussain (43), his wife Shazada Begum (36), and their son Artash (8) died on the spot, while Ilaf (6) succumbed to injuries at Kishtwar district hospital, police said.

The couple’s third child, Arsh (4), is being taken care of at the hospital, said Kishtwar DC.
