"BJP has breached the trust of people. The audio clip reveals horse-trading deal," Congress spokesperson Randeep S Surjewal told reporters.

Reading transcript from purported audiotapes, Surjewala said an investigation should be carried to find if other Central ministers were also involved in the "plot".

"Yesterday, shocking tapes were aired by the media in which Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, BJP leader Sanjay Jain and Congress MLA Bhanwar Lal Sharma spoke about bribing MLAs and bringing down Rajasthan govt," the Congress spokesperson added.

The Congress spokesperson said that the state government and Special Operations Group should initiate an action against the culprits as plenty of evidence has surfaced now.

"If it is suspected that he (Shekhawat) could influence the probe, then a warrant should be issued and he should be arrested immediately," Surjwala said.
