Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha elections 2024: Date of voting, result, candidates, main parties, schedule

Rajnandgaon is a Lok Sabha constituency in Chhattisgarh which covers Pandariya Kawardha Khairagarh Dongargarh (SC) Rajnandgaon Dongargao Khujji Mohla-Manpur (ST).

Candidates
This year from the Rajnandgaon constituency, Santosh Pandey(BJP), who won the previous election as well and Bhupesh Baghel (Congress), who served as the 3rd Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, are contesting against each other. Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) also released its list and gave a ticket to Naresh Kumar Motghare.

Lok Sabha 2019 election result

During the 2019 elections, the Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency witnessed the participation of 14 candidates. BJP's Santosh Pandey clinched victory with 662,387 votes, surpassing Congress' Bhola Ram Sahu. In the preceding 2014 elections, BJP's Abhishek Singh secured the seat with 643,473 votes, with Congress' Kamleshwar Verma coming in second.

Voting date and result
The Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to vote on 26th April 2024, with the Election Commission announcing results on 4th June, as per their statement on March 16.
